This policy explains how Kadai collects, uses, shares, protects, and deletes information when you use the Kadai mobile app.
Information Kadai handles
- Account information, including your email address, display name, username, sign-in identities, language, time zone, and profile photo.
- Tasks and calendars you create or receive access to, including names, notes, locations, due dates, assignments, reminders, completion history, invitations, and collaborator details.
- Notification and widget information needed to deliver reminders and show the tasks you select on your device.
- Google Calendar authorization and event data when you choose to connect or import a Google Calendar. Kadai uses this only to provide the calendar feature you request.
- Kadai Plus entitlement and purchase status supplied by RevenueCat and Google Play. Kadai does not receive your full payment-card details.
- Messages, relevant task and calendar context, and optional photos you submit to Kadai Assistant. Assistant chat history is stored on your device. Attached photos are sent for that request and are not kept in Kadai chat history.
- Content reports you submit, including the reported excerpt, reason, nearby context, account identifier, and review outcome.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate you; sync, share, and remind you about tasks; provide calendar import, widgets, billing entitlements, and AI assistance; prevent abuse; investigate reports; provide support; and keep Kadai reliable and secure. We do not sell personal or sensitive information and do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
Kadai uses Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and server functions; OpenAI to process Assistant requests; Google for optional sign-in, Calendar access, Android services, and Play Billing; RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlement; and Expo services for mobile push delivery. These providers process information only to supply their services to Kadai or as required by law.
Security, retention, and deletion
Kadai transmits information over encrypted HTTPS connections and limits production access to authorized systems and administrators. We retain account and planning data while your account is active. When you delete your account, Kadai deletes the account and associated profile, tasks, calendars, credentials, notification tokens, and stored profile image. Limited billing, security, and report records may be retained only as needed for fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal obligations, and enforcing safety rules, then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
Your choices
You can edit or delete tasks and calendars, disconnect Google Calendar, disable notifications, clear local Assistant history, and delete your account in Kadai. You can also use the public account-deletion page.
